Vlan5 port is not getting the ip address from Firewall DHCP

Query:
I have Cisco 300-52 Manage Switch
VLAN 1 -- 192.168.0.1  --- WORKING FINE
VLAN 2 -- 192.168.100.1 -- WORKING FINE
DHCP is through Sophos Firewall

i have created the VLAN 5 on the same switch & assigned the one port to vlan5
created the DHCP in firewall
VLAN 5 -- 172.168.100.1

Firewall:
LAN: 192.168.0.1
1.1: 192.168.100.1
1.2: 172.168.100.1

Query: Vlan5 port is not getting the ip address from DHCP

  • Can you post a screenshot of your vlan5 interface and then of your DHCP server for that interface?

    Also please post results of a packet capture on web admin Diagnostic > Packet Capture while clients try to get IP address.
    BPF : port 67 or port 68

  • also it may help to recreate the DHCP server on XG once more. We're having an issue from time to time where XG is no longer serving IP addresses. We need to delete a random DHCP server and recreate it to get it working again.
