Can't show vlans traffic in log viewer Sohpos XG

Hello

I have a dobut with the log viewer in Firewall sophos XG: how can I see the traffic generated by the configured VLANs?

I don't see any menu option to log the traffic of the rejected or allowed VLANs.

the scenario is that I set up a bridge interface and on the required VLANs, the communication between the VLANs works but I don't see the traffic in the log viewer.
Then I remove the bridge interface and configure the VLANs to a physical port, if there is communication between the VLANs but I don't see the traffic in the log viewer.

I have the doubt if the FIrewall by default does not register that traffic in the log viewer, or if it must be enabled in some configuration that so far I can't find.

I think that for troubleshooting purposes it would be very important to see that traffic in the log viewer.

  • I have to say, something is oddly wrong in this setup. The Rule has 0 Bytes. So how does it work? Therefore the firewall is not seeing any traffic. If we would drop it, it should not working.

Could you check in the packet capture on the firewall under diagnostic, if you see traffic? Otherwise, the firewall is not involved in the traffic?
