how to know the maximum number of transmitted packets

Hi.
I have a problem with the DoS settings in XG and the packets per minute for SYN flood, UDP flood, TCP flood because when activated it blocks the navigation.

Is there any way to know an average of packets per minute that are transmitted in the company, if you could generate a graph showing the packets sent, I do not want to analyze the traffic, just know how many packets have been sent, is to adjust these values in DoS, seeing the maximum packets that can be sent during peak hours of work and so not be with trial and error to find a suitable value.

Thank you very much.

  • As far as I understand it, the number is either the number of packets/min for a particular transmitter or the number of packets/min to a particular receiver. It's not the total packets/min through/to the firewall, and it doesn't distinguish between hosts within your network and outside. Though maybe I'm wrong on that.

Another complicating factor is that an outside entity attempting to DOS you will DDOS you, so the whole transmitter side of things probably isn't very useful in any case.
