Sophos XG doesn't boot on DELL T40

Hello,

I am trying since yesterday to install Sophos XG  on Dell T40 PC. It has 4 core Xeon Processor and 8GB Ram, I've installed extra network card. But no result. After installation it just shows "18.5_132'  on the top-left conrner of the balck screen with UEFI Boot, and for Legacy Boot it shows 'No bootable device found'.
Is there any solution?

Thanks

  • well it's kinda funny. I have just figured it out, I can connect with web gui through lan port, but the screen attached to the devcice is empty. When I have installed it to an old Fujitsu device, it was normal. But now it's weired. I'm using SSD SATA  disk.

  • Hi,

that means there XG does not contain a driver for that inbuilt console. Thank you, because I always wondered about that feature on some of the MBs I have contemplated using in the past. Does that chip have an inbuilt display chip?

  • Hi,

Yes, it does. I have previously installed Windows on that PC. Now on the monitor screen that connected to the PC is showing 'Booting `18_5_1_326'   on the upper-left corner, the rest screen is dark
