Active - Active HA link configuration

I can't find a straight answer so I'm posting this.  We normally set up Active-Passive firewalls, but we are doing a small data center install with XGS2100 with Active-Active.  The data center has already configured two WAN data drops for us.    Since we are going Active-Active out of the F1 ports to our core switch for the Lan side, do we have to configure LACP on the switch since it is going to be seen the same IP from both firewalls?

  • Sophos HA (A-A or A-P) works in the same way. Both appliances share a virtual mac and the IP. It will be passed to second appliance in case of failover. So if you want to have a split data center, the primary will hold both IPs of both WAN connections.
