Get Statistics for Monitoring Software

Hi All

I would like to get Statistic Information for my Montoring Sofware (Nagios).

What is the best/savest way to get it? Is there a REST/API or do I ssh into it or do it over snmp3.

I would be Interested in Daily Usage:
Data In/Out (Total)
Data In/Out (per Person)
Amount of Mails In/Out (Total)
Amount of Mails In/Out (per Person)
Some more...
