Currently on Untangle - Untangle is really upsetting me. Why choose sophos?

Currently on Untangle - Untangle is really upsetting me.  My upload speeds have decrease from 700 to 17.. and they refuse to help actually speak to me, this happened after they auto renews my license.   Why choose sophos?  is there anyone out there who was using untangle and switch to sophos ?  

i got a key but can i use it in a vm first then use on real hardware?  i want to test this out first before moving to bare metal.

with untangle i pay a $50 / yr subscription   for HOME PRO..  what is the price subs for sophos for home users?

    The License for the Firewall for home usage is free, and there's no support for it besides here in the community.

    Yes, can use on either VM's or on real hardware. Just be sure to have at least 4GB of RAM and a decent processor.

    But there are hardware limits on it, which is 4 Cores and 6GB of RAM.
