Sophos xg 125 v18 - creating a zone for POS system PCI compliant

New Sophos user here, setting up my XG's with a zone for my POS system. POS zone will have limited internet access, only to allowed or trusted sites.  I will also need to set up some nat rules for internal communication with wireless units and local PC's.

To begin with, should I set it up as LAN type or DMZ?  DMZ was suggested at one point but I don't understand why since I can customize either one.  The POS system has no server or anything that requires exposure to internet...

    Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

A zone is a grouping of interfaces. Zones provide a convenient method of managing security and traffic for a group of interfaces.

You can keep the POS system either in the LAN or DMZ zone or can also create a custom zone for it.
