Hi Muni, Thanks for reaching out to Sophos Community.

Could you please explain more on "unbale to ping IPs from one series to another"?

Are these Alias IPs on the LAN interface or are these public IP addresses that are configured as Alias on the WAN interface?

  • Hi Devesh, Thanks for your replay.

Actually i have created allies in LAN. Like 192.x.x.x... and 192.x.y.x... and 10.x.x.x

all the series IP are getting internet but unable to ping one seires IP(192.X.X.X)from other series( 192.x.y.x)

  • Hi,

simple question why do you see a need to use alias on the internal network when you can use an extended range eg /22 instead of 3 /24s?

Agreed with Ian and just adding on top of what he said, Try to add a LAN to LAN firewall rule. Source Zone LAN and Destination Zone LAN as well and see if that works.

If those Alias IPs are acting as gateways for their respective subnets, You'll need to have a LAN to LAN rule to allow traffic between these subnets.
