XG Firewall -> VPN > IP Adress

Hello!

It is possible to change inside XG Firewall the IP adress that a SSL VPN connection will use?

Client tries to access an IP address and it presents a time-out error. After the error the client makes the connection by another IP address. The IP address you connect is registered in the Firewall and I would like to change it

  • Sorry, not simple to understand.
    Which IP you wish to change?

  • Hello Eduardo,

    Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

    Adding to what Dirk has mentioned.

    If you are referring to this IP, that is the IP of the SSL VPN tun0 interface for the SSL VPN.

    tun0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00
    inet addr:10.80.50.2 P-t-P:10.80.50.2 Mask:255.255.255.0
    inet6 addr: 2001:db8::1:0/64 Scope:Global
    inet6 addr: fe80::d67f:b012:7407:167d/64 Scope:Link
    UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
    RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
    TX packets:5 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
    collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
    RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:380 (380.0 B)

    If you want to change that one you need to edit the SSL VPN range under VPN >> Show VPN settings >> IPv4 lease range

    Regards,
