PXE boot and sophos xg210

Hello people,

I have a question about PXE boot from Windows Deployment Server with XG210 in between, doing InterVLAN routing.

This is how it looks like

Windows Deployment Server (192.168.1.11/24), Windows DHCP (192.168.1.10/24)

                       |---------------------------------------|

            XG210 FW (v 18.5)

                       |

         Unmanaged Switch

                       |

            Desktop (PXE boot) (192.168.2.200/24)

1. I've enabled dhcp relay on the XG210 to the windows dhcp server and the windows deployment server.

2. I've tried entering the DHCP options 66 and 67 into the windows dhcp server - Desktop client displays message saying the selected boot device was not available.
2. I've tried removing DHCP options 66 and 67 into the windows dhcp server - Desktop client displays message saying the selected boot device was not available.

Upon desktop booting from ethernet, it was able to grab an IP address from the windows dhcp server. (I was able to see the DHCP lease provided)

But Desktop entered a wait loop after getting the IP address. There was no further booting. Doing a tcpdump revealed that the client is calling the WDS server with the boot string 'boot\x64\wdsmgfw.efi', but the WDS server is not responding at all.

In the end, the desktop client returned an error message says "selected boot device was not available."

I had set firewall rules as Any to Any for troubleshooting.

Any ideas?
