Create Vlan

Hi everyone,

i have some tests in sophos home xg v18.5 with vlans, my exemple is below:

dhcp:

then i have a dlink switch webmanaged

port1: go to Sophos

port2: go to pc

pc cannot obtain ip.

an you help?

Hi,

Is the port connecting to the XG tagged and the port you connect your PC on untaggrd?

Hello Antonio,

Adding to what rfcat mentioned, you need to select the VLAN 1, and select the Port1 as Tagged and the rest to NOT member.

so , in resume:

port 1 of XG is untaged in port 1 of switch (vlan1 default);

port 2 is untaged and conected in pc

with this configuration cannot work, cannot obtain ip form dhcp vlan20.

i tested has Emmanuel mensionated but does't work too

Just for keep in mind, my XG is for testing is Xg home, any problem with this?
