sophos connect - import IPsec configuration - lost afer user-re-logon

Hi all,

how should I import the IPsec config to sophos connect client.

The client is installed / rolled out .. but empty.

If i "send" the config to the "import" folder the config is imported immediately. User is able to logon via VPN.

But if user logs off and on again, or another user is logging on the connect client is empty again.

Where is my error? Any hints?

Thanks,

  • Hello Dirkkotte,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

The client itself is empty by default, and the admin sends the email with the configuration file or uses the provisioning file with GPO.

In the case of the user importing the .scx (pre-configured previously by the admin) the user will enter their credentials to authenticate after importing it to the SCC.

If you use the provisioning file, the user will get a .pro file, they can double-click and the Sophos Connect client it. will ask for its credentials for the User Portal, and it would pull down the configuration.

In either case, the user should be able to see the imported connection after login off, I would guess an antivirus is removing the file.

What happens if the file remains on the desktop?

What is the version of the Sophos Connect Client, is it 2.1?

    Regards,
