XG firewall will not send out daily password. I checked email logged and it is getting bounced.

HI all,

As of yesterday 06/09 our daily password email and the weekly report did not get sent through. I gave it a day and same result. Checked the log viewer and noticed it was queued, then check email viewer and it bounced. this is the first time this has happened any idea why? Or is there a way to release those mails?

Additional info we preformed updates around the last week of the month but it seemed fine after that.

    Hi ,

    Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

    Go to Email > Mail logs and hover the mouse on bounced mail status to get the reason.

    You can also check smtpd_main.log or awarrensmtp.log events to get more information.

    Run the below command in shell and try to send backup email or test email from the Sophos Firewall.

    # tail -f /log/awarrensmtp.log

    # tail -f /log/smtpd_main.log

    Share session output here or in PM.
