For my attendance software person wants to open 80 port for access attendance software from other network or out of office
For Out of office, you can use WAF or DNAT rule or Remote Access VPN to connect application on HTTP Port 80.
For other network if it's connected with firewall directly, Firewall rule can be helpful.
WAF and Remote Access VPN (SSL VPN or Sophos Connect client) is more secure as compared to DNAT Rule.
