Legacy AP in XG on sfos 18.5

Question

I've read conflicting info over the last several months about legacy wifi hardware support status. Would AP100C & AP15 be functional and manageable in a Sophos XG (not XGS) on sfos 18.5 mr1 or would they be inoperable? There is a large group of these at a remote location managed through an XG on sfos 18.0 under consideration for replacement with a higher end XG (not XGS) on 18.5.

Onward, All the announcements can be overwhelming at times! 
 I'll clear this up for you with this kb: Legacy AP Series support on upcoming SFOS versions and future hardware platforms (sophos.com) 
 
 For XG - this is the main info you need: 
 SFOS version 18.5 and higher on XG Series AP Series: 5, 10, 30, 50 In SFOS version 18.5 and higher running on XG Series appliances, support will no longer be included for the AP Series access points which reached their End-of-life date in 2018. 
 Note that the AP15/15C would be supported with v18.5 and higher. 
 Note that the AP100/100C would be supported with v18.5 and higher.
