XG105 {SFOS 17.5.15 MR-15} No more updates?

Question

Hello guys! I don't know here would be the appropriate place for this question, I'll do it here.... Ask me a question about the Sophos XG105. I heard that there will be no more updates or support for this version. Does this proceed?

Antonio - you can refer to this kb article: https://docs.sophos.com/releasenotes/index.html?productGroupID=nsg&productID=xg&versionID=18.0 In the article click on the "Supported Platforms" tab and you will see the reason why both the XG 85 and the 105 are not able to upgrade to version 18 of SFOS. Essentially it is because they are limited to only 2GB of RAM. The next generation XGS 86 and 106 now have the new XSTREAM architecture and 4GB of RAM. If you need to, please reach out to your local sales team or partner for a further deep dive into the new XGS architecture and what the benefits are.

 The XG 105 End of Support/Life will be August 2022. NOTE: the migration path recommended would be to move to an XGS 107 not the XG 106 it shows in the chart.
