SOPHOS CONFIGURATION

How many networks do you have? The XG will assign the interface of each network as a gateway.

what are your requirements for traffic distribution between the two isps?

I only have one network. I want the sophos to load balance between the two ISP's 

Hi JOHNSON OLADIMEJI : If you have terminated both the ISPs on Sophos with activate ISP then by default traffic will be load balanced among them. The below help section will give more information on the same.

The second ISP has not been terminated on the sophos

Hi JOHNSON OLADIMEJI: In that case, Sophos will not be able to perform the load-balance of traffic to that 2nd ISP as it is not terminated or not configured on Sophos.

I want to get help on how to go about it. That was why I posted it here.I also want the issues of giving out multiple default gateways resolved

JOHNSON OLADIMEJI:  The best available way is you may terminate the 2nd ISP as in the WAN zone with an active gateway on XG.For that help section which covers detailed information with snapshot, I shared in the initial comment. If you have no free Interface on XG then you may upgrade to a higher model of XG where more interfaces are available which will help to accommodate this requirement of yours. ( assuming no free Interface on your XG and that is why you have no way to put the 2nd ISP on XG).

Can u help me verify if this is possible on XG135. If not what is the option?

Hi JOHNSON OLADIMEJI:   Please check the below details and confirm the status. 

Please Login over XG and Navigate on Network ==> Interfaces. Do you have any free/unused Interface here? If yes then you may terminate that 2nd ISP on XG with the required configuration on that Interface by setting up zone as in WAN as per the above help section guide configuration.

Please provide a network diagram including all hardware connections. How many interfaces does your xg135 have and what servers do you have on your network?

Thanks for this. I have gone through the process but there were no free/unused interface.

I will summarize the network here. The main ISP is plugged into the WAN interface of the sophos.While the Lan interface was connected to the switch which  controls that LAN.

I am  little confused, the XG135 specification  indicates 8 GBe ports on the basic unit.
