Can you please provide guidance on opening ports securely on XG Firewall XG115w?

Hi, I'm new to Sophos Firewall and I just need some guidance on how I can open ports securely on XG Firewall XG115w. A client requires a couple of TCP ports to be allowed on the firewall to access an application running on an internal server from external. Thanks.
