"synchronized application control" question

Hi,

Under Protect -> Applications -> Synchronized Application Control, it's possible to customize observed applications.

Is it possible to "un-customize" these and revert them to their previously discovered state (application name, category)?

    Hi Ahmed, Thanks for reaching out to Sophos Community.

    As far as I know, It's not possible to change the customized application back to the discovered state. But you can always rename or change the category of the customized application.

    Is there any specific requirement to put application back to Discovered state?

    You can flush the database of "not seen application since" and it will come back, once it was launched again. You can also delete a particular app and it will come back.
