Modify sophos red

If you have a physical RED just select the model, enter the Serial Number, (if it is not a new RED) the Unlock Code and your gateway. Don't forget the Zone for your RED. After the deployment you have a new Interface (redsx) and you can configure your firewall rules.

That is not possible. The RED is a box with limited hardware ressources and can only connect to a Sophos Firewall.

I like the idea, but think, you will only waste your time on this nut.

Compute power would be poor, even if you manage to connect a monitor on that computer and install Sophos XG software.

I don't know if you can even plug a storage large enough to install something on.
