This is the second time it has happened.. but on my XG firewall SNORT is murdering my firewalls and making them unusable.  WHYYY!!???

Seriously though.. did anyone else have this happen today or know what causes it?

  • Hi,

I've seen something similar in a test environment. The FW was "attacked" by some randomly created destination (or source?) addresses. This led to high CPU although the used bandwidth was only a few 100 MBit/s. (XG210)
