Merhaba Sophos ailesi.

Sophos XG210 model firewall kullanıcısıyım

Kullanmakta olduğumuz firewall üzerinden oluşturmuş olduğum whatsapp rule üzerinden file block uygulamak istiyorum.

ama malesef bunu bir türlü ne yaptıysam beceremedim.

Kullanıcılarım yazılım olarak kurulmuş whatsapp yazılımını üzerinden veya web.whatsapp.com üzerinden whatsapp yazılımını kullanmaktadırlar.

bununla ilgili olarak kullanıcılarımın whatsapp application üzerinden veya web.whatsapp.com üzerinden dosya alış verişi yaparken. zip , rar , exe gibi veya bir benzeri dosya uzantılarını engellemek istiyorum. bunu nasıl yapabilirim.

Sonuçta whatsapp da bir https  kullanıyor diye biliyorum. ve clientlerimde sophos ssl yüklü bir birşekilde internete çıkartıyorum. ama bir türlü olmuyor.

    Hey Ahmet,

    I did some testing and figured out that blocking specific file-type for Whatsapp Web is not possible. Although there's an option to block file type that is only possible when you download specific files from different websites.

    For this, You can either block 'File Transfer for Whatsapp' via the application signature for those specific IPs of the LAN Machines. Keep in mind that it'll also apply to the Mobile Application as well. So you can segment that part of the network and only apply the File type block application signature for it.
