Sophos Installation

Dear Support, 

I have tried to install sophos xg directly on Intel hardware, and I have downloaded the ISO file SW-18.0.5_MR-5-586 I have put the installation ISO on USB, but I am not able to run it through boot order. 

It that possible to install Sophos directly on inter hardware, or we need some additional virtual environment.

My second question is can we install Sophos XG on Linux or not?

    Hi,

    Sophos firewalls install into VMs and hardware, they do do not install as applications running under windows or LINUX. Further the current version do not support EUFI boot process and you will need two NICs which are not Intel I219 series.

    Hi rfcat_vk, thank you  for your support, actually I don't want to run as an application rather I want to install the ISO file on 

    INTEL ATOM D2550 2X1.86GHZ, 4GB RAM hardware.
