IMAPs in v18.5.1

Hi folks,

I would add this post to the 2 already existing but they are in the German forum and I don't speak German.

Background. There are 5 devices that use IMAPs mail accounts. 2 have three accounts shared, another has 3 accounts and two others have one account shared with the previous device. All are Apple devices. All devices have the XG CA installed.

The XG has two firewall rule specifically to handle mail and mail scanning, one IP4 and the other IPv6. The IPv6 rule does not carry any traffic.

Today's report highlights the issue with the XG handling of IMAP/s traffic.

We do not receive 217 emails a day.

Why is it so bad?

Ian

  • Hi,

for me was the solution to disable the DPI engine completely under advanced settings. Wait a few seconds and enable it again. After this Outlook was able to receive IMAPS Mails.

  • Hi Ben,

the messages are received okay, just the numbers displayed are not really reality. I had this trouble before the current release, it has just got worse with this release. This is an old issue but gets worse with every update and you can't disable logging without loosing all the mail scanning results.
