Change designated WAN port on XGS136, dynamically update?

We would like to test with with the one of the 2.5 Gbps as the WAN port after the device is in production.

Is it possible to change the designated WAN port on the XGS 136 without having the redefine the whole configuration – NAT / MASQ, Rules, Policy, etc? Can it be done in such a way that the setup will dynamically adjust or update? Or will everything need to be redone ?

Hoping to a avoid a reset to factory defaults, but I understand this may be necessary.

    Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

Disabling the interface deletes all dependent configurations(for example device access, VPNs, VLANs, static routes, interface-based hosts).

Here in case, you can just update the configuration of the WAN interface and can perform the testing as required.

It's always recommended to take a configuration backup before making any changes.
