Upgrade from XG to XGS and AP100 compatibility

XGS Appliances do not support Legacy AP Serie. You can contact your local partner to contact Sophos to get a Central wireless License to use the AP series.

Is that function of the wireless firmware in v18.5.x and does that mean everyone who upgrades to v18.5.x will loose their existing APs?

XGS supports APX.

XG/SG/Software with V18.5 will support Legacy and APX. 

Sorry for Revieving this Thread, but the Help-Page for 18.5 states that some Legacy-APs are still compatible...

The difference is the hardware: XGS with V18.5 will support only APX. XG/SG/Software still supports all AP´s. 

Hmm... maybe it would be nice to explicit point that out on the Help-Pages - as thats the Documentation some people rely on...
