XG 115 Firewall Rules

Hi, 

I am new to Sophos technology. Just started using XG115 for my home office. Currently I got 6 rules defined under rules and policies. But when i access the Control Centre it indicates 3 of my rules are unused. 

When I checked the active status of the each rule, one of them is in active mode and other 2 are inactive. I am not worried about the inactive one but not sure why the active one is reading as unused.

    Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

    Firewall rules whose criteria didn't match any traffic during the period are listed under 'Unused' status(rules with no traffic count(in/out)).

    Sophos Firewall checks for rule usage every 12 hours. You can find more information on the below link.

    Search for: Active firewall rules > Status
