I am quite new with Sophos XG firewall. I just want to find out is there any advantage on moving the DHCP service from Domain controller to the firewall?
So if there is a Domain Controller, it is better to use DHCP from the Domain controller instead of the firewall DHCP and I won't lose any functionally for the firewall right?
If you create an "DNS request route" on the firewall you can use your Hosts a FQDN-Objects on firewall. My experience is also if you have an Domain Controller on site use this as DHCP and DNS for your clients.
