Permitted Network Resources for SSL VPN [Remote Access]

I have setup the SSL VPN [Remote Access] for a few users. Everything is working fine. Then I add an extra internal network to the permitted network resources under tunnel access section. I added this network to the appropriate firewall rule as well. 

When I login via the VPN client remotely a route to this new network is not added. If I add the route manually everything is fine and I have access.

Is this expected behavior? Should a route be added?
