Redundant RED Tunnel and static routes

Hello Community,

I've setup two RED Tunnels between to XG Firewalls. And I setup static route to the opposite firewall. The routing works as expected. Now I set another route with a higher metric on the 2nd RED Tunnel. If I interrupt the first tunnel the XG always use the route with the lower metric and the connection is also interrupted.

I think this setup will work with IPSec Tunnel Interfaces.

Can I use Redundant RED Tunnel and static routes the open the 2nd path? Or must I switch to OSPF as an solution for my problem?
