it means you have missed a step in the creation of your CA and it did  not save.

I haven't messed with the certificate authority (CA) at all. I exactly followed the steps in that guide and see the green checkmark mentioned in step #3.

I got this figured out. I deleted the self-signed cert and created a new one and it worked.

I also figured out that it's helpful to add a SAN for each Interface IP that can access the XG. In the case of seperate Wifi networks on their own subnet, this is important if trying to use Network Agent auth. on iOS.
