XGS 126 to NETGEAR XS716T

Customer just ordered both the SOPHOS and Netgear units to setup Google Fiber 2G internet. Need some guidance on the best way to connect up these two devices. In order to maintain multi-gig, I was thinking to Fiber-to-Fiber with SFP transceivers and Fiber patch cord, but I am not entirely sure which SFP models would work and whether it would but multimode or single mode fiber cable.

I looked at this - https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000037169?language=en_US#1G/10G-Dual-Speed-Transceivers-and-DAC-(Direct-Attached-Cable-or-Twinax-Cable)

... but was not entirely clear as to whether this was the only option?

Sophos Generic ITFZTCHTC SFP to RJ45+ 1000Base-T Copper Transceiver

First experience with GF 2gig and maintaining multi-gig throughout internal network, so uncharted waters - But the customer needs to be up and running ASAP.
