change region via VPN SSL SOPHOS

Datalinks Sophos

Hello all,

I am working now at India.I am  successfully connected via my ssl vpn sophos to my office at France.

I need your help because it seems that my region doesn't not change (doesn't follow the region where is located my sophos xg) so for exemple i cannot watch a streaming which is on TF1 in France.

Is there some configuration i must do in the firewall

    Hello there,

    Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

    You would need to configure to enable "Use as Default Gateway" on your SSL VPN profile on the XG, then you can do "what is my IP" on the web browser, and then it should show the Public IP of your XG, additionally to this you can in the Firewall rule enable Web Filter.

    However even after you do this, you probably might still be blocked by the streaming service, you want to access, due to restrictions they put in place to detect VPNs.
