Heavy traffic on HA interfaces after upgrading to firmware version SFOS 18.0.5 MR-5-Build586

I am using Sophos XG310 devices in HA...after upgrading the devices to firmware version SFOS 18.0.5 MR-5-Build586, i have been observing heavy traffic on the HA interfaces as compared to the situation before upgrade.

before upgrade it used to be between ranges of 80kb/s to 100kb/s but now it has increased drastically and has been ranging in between 8Mb/s to 9Mb/s.

Is it a normal behavior because so far other parameters seems fine such as CPU usage and memory usage.

    well i have been monitoring the live traffic on the port...i have not calculated it the total value per day because it has never been the case since it was a HA link anyway...which is likely used for Heart Beats only...i am not sure if the scope covers beyond this...
