Question about Split tunnel in SD-RED

Question

I have a scenario with an SD-RED20 connected to an XG210, through a Split tunnel.

The question is whether even though I have a Split Tunnel and in a moment the service of the XG210 device is lost or it just shuts down, does the SD-RED device also lose the service in the local network to the internet?

Hello there, 
 Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community. 
 Standard/Split mode 
 If the RED loses contact with the Sophos XG Firewall, and the tunnel fails, the RED stops routing traffic. Remote LAN users lose access to the internet and the Sophos XG Firewall&rsquo;s internal networks until the tunnel can reconnect.
