Unable to access web interface 502 proxy error

Hello,

I have installed this SFOS 18.0.1 MR1 and then upgraded firmware to 18.0.5 MR5 yesterday. Today when i tried open its web interface its giving the following error in browser either chrome or firefox. Please note that i don't use proxy in browser everything else is working fine but this web interface of sophos xg won't open. It also won't allow SSH access with the error of "The remote system refused the connection.".

If i restart the firewall the issue will be resolved but after some time it happens again. Please note that currently there is no user traffic passing through this firewall.

Hi Kafu Hacin : What is the observation for required/necessary service logs ( like syslog, applog, tomcat, garner, erorr_log) in the serial console connection?

When device GUI running and giving above error any different in any service status?

Service status you may confirm via command #service -S

Additionally based on the difference of service status which you observed, you may check the log file for that service as well.

Which device is this and are you running it in HA Cluster ?

When the issue is in live , Access the device over SSH, Navigate to Option 5 > Option 3 (Advanced Shell).

Run the command --> service -S | grep -i "tomcat\|apache\|postgres"

Also, ensure that the disk is not full with the command in the same shell --> df -kh
