Hi there, this is my first time on here. When I started working from home, the company that I work for gave me a Sophos XG86 to access our work servers through.
This has worked perfectly for over a year. However after upgrading to a BT SmartHub2 (from HomeHub4) in order to improve our home WiFi range, the access to the servers has slowed to the point of unusability. I am using a recent iMac. Other devices connected to the Router perform as before, including other Macs not connected through the XG86. Re-installing the HomeHub4 restores performance to previous levels.
Has anybody else had a problem of this kind? Is there some kind of firmware update that I might need? I would welcome any suggestions that might be relevant (bear in mind that I have very little technical knowledge)
