WAF Active Sync upload Problems after Upgrade to v18

Hello,

after finally updating our XG cluster to v18.0.4, we are currently having problems sending emails with attachments bigger 1MB.

I opened a ticket and although I mentioned (NC-62805) Sophos has not responded for over two days.

@LuCar Toni Kann you please attach the Workaround to the case 03931340

    Hi Harsh Patel,

    thanks for your support. Unfortunately I can't see that anything has changed on the ticket. I really don't need a call up from Sophos here, just the workaround. An explanation why the bug is known for so many months and still has not been fixed would of course also be great.

    If the priority medium means that you have to wait over 48 hours for a response, this was definitely the last time I use this priority.

    I am really disappointed

    Its not a Bug, its a feature. ModSecurity limits the upload size and we are not gonna increase the upload limit for all customers. If there is the need, we need to discuss this further and can increase this for this particular customer.

    Hi Lucar Toni,

    sorry but I don't understand this anymore. We are not the only customer who uses WAF to secure his Exchange server. You want to tell all customers that they should not send mails larger than 1MB from their cell phones? Do I understand this correctly?

    Something like this must be adjustable via the web interface or am I missing something here?

    This is the long term story. 

    This will be adjustable for the future on the Web UI or a CLI Switch. 

    PS: WAF is not only for Exchange.

    You are absolutely right. For us, Exchange is also just one of many other WAF rules. For all other web servers, I probably welcome this feature as well. But for most companies, sending mail is a very important function.
