You can change the password of a local user directly from the XG.

It is a local user that I created because I need it to use the API function

Would you mind trying a different browser.

If you create a different test user and try to change the password for this newly created user, is it possible?

What SFOS version are you running? v17 or v18 MRx? 

If the issue persists, try checking on the following firewall log for any error:

/log/syslog.log

Thanks for your feedback .
I tested with firefox I have the same problem.
I am in SFOS 18.0.5 MR-5 but the message has changed compared to SFOS 18.0.4 MR-4

This issue was resolved on May 10, after creating a Profile called "Administrator".
