STAS "wrong credentials"

Good morning,

I am trying to impement STAS.

XG 18.0.4 MR-4
STAS 2.5.1.0 installed on two out of three domain controllers on this domain, i.e. the two on this site.

NetBIOS-Domain is COMPANY
Domain is company.local

dc01 was added as authentication server using NetBIOS and Domain name above, and Search Query "DC=company,DC=local"
Logon to User-Portal works fine using AD credentials.

STAS service installed on dc01 in STA Agent Mode "EVENTLOG" with no domain Controller IP (because installed locally on DC), local network which includes both DCc and XG is specified.  Domain Controller Polling field is empty. Domain-info provided as above. Collector List lists DC2

STAS service installed on dc02 in STA Agent Mode "EVENTLOG" with no domain Controller IP (because installed locally on DC), local network which includes both DCs and XG is specified.  Domain Controller Polling field is empty. Domain-info provided as above. Collector List lists DC1

General Tab shows appliance being served correctly. Ports are open.

I followed this guide:

https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000038628?language=en_US

In my firewall rule I used the AD-group "company-users" which was synced from AD.

When trying to access the internet from a domain member PC, the captive portal appears.  (This manual logon works fine.)
In authentication log I see this:

What is my mistake?

Thanks,

Ralph
