importing users and groups on active directory internal server error

I've imported groups before, but I am setting up a new vpn users group for a different group of users.

Same software load (18 MR4).

the test connection works fine.

I do the query and it finds the groups and users.

I try any group (other than the one grayed out as it is already imported), click next and it has 2 mandatory and 2 optional fields.

If I leave them as defaults, it says it could not connect to the device when I click next.

If I uncheck any of them, it gives me an error of internal server error....

thoughts?

Nothing in system/authentication/admin logs.

Make sure the Search Queries is correct https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000035731?language=en_US

After you get "Internal Server Error", you need to access the GUI of the XG again I believe?

Can you check csc.log and provide the output of

# ls -lh /var/cores

# csc custom status

this works fine on an XG106 on the same network.

both the xg210 and the xg106 same query work and discover things, the XG106 moves on to the next screen and the XG210 in its current state gives a 500 internal server error.

Would it be possible for you to update to MR5, it’s available now on id.sophos.com, and let me know if after this the issue persists.
