Is it possible to set DHCP Options in the IPSec Client VPN (Connect Client)?

Hello,

is there a possiblity to set DHCP Options in the IPSec Connect Client VPN?

I've found an article configuring DHCP options when you create a seperate DHCP Server. But I can't find the possibility to set options in the DHCP of the IPSec Connect Client.

Runnig the latest XG Version.

Thanks!

  • As far as i know, the Client does not get a IP from the builtin DHCP Server, instead SSLVPN and IPsec uses an own DHCP service to push IPs to the Client. It does not rely on the basic DHCP service, which stores the DHCP Options. Instead the service itself assign the IPs.

  • Thanks for the reply. Didn't knew that they are using 2 different services. Is it possible to set DHCP Options to the sslvpn and ipsec users?

  • No, its not. Its not a DHCP server, instead a service, assigning IPs. The Client is not asking for a DHCP addresses, it simply getting a IP for the tunnel interface.
