QoS for cell phones over IP?

As mentioned cell phone uses an IP address to make phone calls. You can create a destination-based firewall rule for that IP address and apply a traffic shaping policy to it.

You can also create a source IP/MAC-based firewall rule for required cell phones.

Or you may create a service-based firewall rule to priorities the voice traffic.

Note: If a firewall is running on firmware version v18 then you need to create a separate NAT or linked NAT for a firewall rule.

Is there a QoS, giving priority to IPs, Mac Addrs, or port traffic? There's a preference for priority vs bandwidth set aside.

When you allocate priority to QoS policy then IPs/MACs/Services/Web/Applications will get their guaranteed bandwidth depending on the remaining bandwidth of the total available bandwidth.

For cell phone, you may set priority to 0 as recommended.
