RED 60 amd XG Firewall Version 18.x no LAN traffic

Hi,

we have a new RED 60, we have added Firewall rules, Ner Zone only for the RED as explained in alot of videos and manuals, one thing that we cannot get working is traffice to our LAN, RED to WAN, RED to IPSec Tunnels even RED to another  Interface that is connected to our Telephone System works BUT only when we define the RED IP Subnet just choosing #red1 as in the video nothing works at all choosing the defined RED IP Subnet everything works except for the LAN traffic?

So anyone out there who can help us and tell us the difference now between Version 17.x and 18.x when adding a RED!

we are a little baffled!

    Hi ,

    Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Community! 

    If I understand correctly, you're having an issue with the traffic from RED to LAN and RED to WAN. What type of RED operation mode did you configure? 

    If you hover over the #red1 object and don't see the network associated with the interface, try to configure the new network object to use within firewall rules. 

    Could you please provide the link to the video that you're referencing?

    Hi H_Patel,

    we found out problem, the IP Scope of the RED was clashing with our IP Scope in our LAN, we difined a totally different IP Scope for the RED and after a reboot we diefined a Rule RED to LAn and RED to WAN as described and everything is working and traffic going over these Rules!

    SO note to myself...clean up all config in network Slight smile
