XG Exchange - Protection policy

Given the security breach of Ms Exchange server we have installed the necessary patch:

We did not have a Web Server -> Protection Policies enabled as only one protocol WAF is allowed (HTTP redirect, HTTPS) with multiple Path specific Routes. As we have a spare IP I can split it so I end up with one WAF for Activesync and OWA.

Problem is when I set the protection policy to Exchange General in the WAF, ActiveSync and OWA stop working. 

Is there a document to troubleshoot Protection Policy issues with Exchange?
