User connected to VPN at home - Can't print

I have a user whom is accessing work resources from home via VPN on XG105 - 

I'd like the user to be able to access his home network, to be able to print without having to disconnect from his VPN.  I really don't want to enable split-tunneling, is there another way ???

    Hello Thomas,

    Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

    If the Printer and the computer being used are in the same Broadcast network, the user shouldn't have any issue printing, as the switch/router would handle that traffic before going into the tunnel.

    If however the Printer and the host computer are in different subnets, probably the traffic will go into the SSL VPN. 

    If for some reason you also have an overlapping network on your Network with the Network of the home user (usually using 192.168.0.x and 192.168.1.x) causes this issues then the routing will be affected.

    I think I understand what you're saying - The printer and the PC are on the same network - There shouldn't be a need to route as they are on the same network.  By overlapping networks, do you mean two different networks at his home?  Or, his home network and his office network need to have the same network address?  This seems like it would be a very easy thing to accomplish but nevertheless I'm missing something.

    If they’re in the same Network in their house, then it shouldn't be an issue, for example,

    Computer IP = 192.168.1.10/24 and Printer IP = 192.168.1.11/24

    Then it should work fine, however, if the Computer is on 192.168.1.10 and the Printer on 192.168.0.11 it would cause issues with the VPN.

    Also if their Local Network is overlapping with a network in your end, then it’ll cause issues with the routing, other than that you shouldn't have issues.
