SIP Firewall Rule

Can anyone give an example of the firewall rule that has to be used for SIP with a VoIP server in the cloud ?

It should be simple, but I can't get it to work.

And what is that with the builtin SIP-module ? Should it be on or off ?

Thanks, Marc

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Sophos Community!

For VoIP servers in the cloud, you need LAN to WAN firewall rule with the VoIP server IP address in the destination network and required services, and ensure there’s no web filtering configured on this rule.

If you have multiple WAN links, you might have to configure the SD-WAN policy route.

You might not need the SIP module loaded on the firewall. Check out the following KBA on how to unload the SIP module.

    Thanks,
