Installing XG Firewall Free Home Edition

Do you install from CD/DVD or USB? If you write iso to USB make sure that you in rufus select DD mode.

I did select DD. It does not seem to make a difference. I am installing this on a PC. Can you tell me which Download I should be using as I am not 100% sure I am selecting the correct Download.

You need download this one:

https://secure2.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/sophos-xg-firewall-home-edition/software.aspx

Filename will be "SW-18.0.1_MR-1-Build396-396.iso"

You can also login to licensing portal and download from page "Network Protection" -> "Download Installers" -> "Software Installers" and you will download latest "SW-18.0.4_MR-4-506.iso"

P.S. Is computer Intel based?

Yes PC is intel based. Its i5.

I found the issue. I had tried both USB ports in the front of my PC. When I changed to the ports on the back, it is now working. I feel very silly for not trying this sooner as it has been bothering me all day. Sorry to have bothered you.
