My clients are not sending a heartbeat, so it would seem to the firewall.
All the articles i have looked at range in age and firmware versions making it difficult to work out why and what's supported.
Does Heartbeat support both Windows and Mac OS? Is it available for all Central licence types or only available to Advanced for example?
Within Sophos Central my devices do not show Security Heartbeat Firewall under Endpoint Agent Summary, this information is completely missing.
However within the firewall it is turned on, but showing 0 devices connected with heartbeat and i can see the firewall listed under global settings and registered Firewall appliances.
Clients are connecting over IPsec and i have edited the config file to tick the option to enable agents to sent a heartbeat, saved the config file and replaced it.
My VPN settings on the firewall under IPsec (remote access) use as default gateway is set to 'ON' but that means permitted network resources is greyed out and send security heartbeat is also greyed out.
My clients are configured with tunnelling off and i've listed IP addresses for split tunnelling manually within the clients. I've not listed the heartbeat ip anywhere as i assume toggling the send heartbeat within the config file would do that.
On the firewall rule i'm testing i've enabled heartbeat, set to yellow on the source.
